Derek Walker

Biography

Previously CEO of Cwmpas, the UK’s largest co-operative development agency, he worked to support people and communities to create jobs and strengthen communities, and changed the organisation’s focus to development that meets the needs of current generations without compromising the needs of future generations. 
 
He has also worked as Head of External Affairs at the Big Lottery Fund (Wales), as Head of Policy and Campaigns at the Wales TUC and was the first employee of Stonewall Cymru.

Cyn hynny, bu Prif Swyddog Gweithredol Cwmpas, asiantaeth datblygu gydweithredol mwyaf y DU, yn gweithio i gefnogi pobl a chymunedau i greu swyddi a chryfhau cymunedau, ac fe newidiodd ffocws y sefydliad i ddatblygiad sy’n diwallu anghenion y cenedlaethau presennol heb beryglu anghenion cenedlaethau’r dyfodol.   Mae hefyd wedi gweithio fel Pennaeth Materion Allanol Cronfa Gymunedol Loteri (Cymru), fel Pennaeth Polisi ac Ymgyrchoedd TUC Cymru ac yn weithiwr cyntaf Stonewall Cymru.
