Sonia Arakkal

Sonia is a strategic advisor with experience across consulting, public policy and international relations. She has worked with senior leaders from political office to management consultancy, most recently in the Secretary General’s office at the International Chamber of Commerce.  Prior to this Sonia worked in a foreign policy think tank focused on the Indo Pacific region and as a political staffer. In 2017 Sonia co-founded Think Forward, a lobbying group that seeks to address intergenerational inequity in Australia, today she serves as Chair of the board. Sonia’s has been featured in local and international media outlets for expert commentary on politics, foreign policy and on topics related to intergenerational fairness. Her writing has been published in The Australian, The Age and Sydney Morning Herald. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and completed her undergrad at the Australian National University in Law and International Relations.
