Alinah Segobye
Biography
Alinah K. Segobye is an Extraordinary Professor at North West University and Research Scholar at the African Futures Institute in South Africa. She is the former Dean of Faculty (Human Sciences) at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. She is a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (AAS). She serves on the African Union Commission’s Champions for Arts Culture and Heritage panel of experts. Segobye has teaching, research and consultancy experience in African studies including archaeology, culture & heritage management, HIV/AIDS; gender and development. Segobye has authored several essays and book chapters on Africa’s development.
