We’re currently hiring for three roles.

These are exciting times for SOIF and our NGFP Programme, which exists to accelerate the transformation of the next generation of changemakers using foresight to envision inclusive and equitable futures globally. We continue to grow and broaden our impact and are looking for brilliant, values-driven people to join us on our mission to create positive social change through applied foresight.

SOIF is an international organisation with an international team. We welcome applications from across the globe. All roles are freelance and virtual.

1. Coordinator and community weaver

We are looking for a highly-organised, energetic coordinator and community weaver to join our team. This role will support the growth of our Next Generation Foresight Practitioners practice. There are two aspects to this role. Community weaving to nurture and support the NGFP network, and coordination to support the programme and projects, including managing the new NGFP fund.

2. Growth Officer

We are looking for a Growth Officer to join our team and support the next phases of growth for SOIF and the NGFP programme. This is a new opportunity focused on helping us diversify, fundraise, and build sustainable funding. In the short-term you will focus on developing a growth strategy for both SOIF and the NGFP programme. In the longer-term you will support the team to deliver while taking a leading role on specific opportunities as we seek to diversify and build a sustainable business model.

3. Communications manager

We are looking for a Communications Manager to join our team and help us refocus our brand and voice. You’ll help us to put our thought leadership and impact at the centre of the stories we tell and connect our work and insights into global public conversations. We are also establishing new systems and processes to help us better understand what communications resonate with our audiences. You will take a key role to support these ambitions and translate them into action.

Other opportunities – project managers, foresight researchers and facilitators

From time-to time we need an extra pair of hands to support us as project managers, researchers and facilitators on our project work.

If you are an enthusiastic researcher with good experience of designing and facilitating foresight projects, we would love to hear from you. We work on lots of different topics and welcome working with colleagues with different interests, expertise and experience.
